1.1 This Privacy Policy addresses how Baser ApS ("Baser", "mybaser.co.uk", "us", "our", "we") process and collect personal data about you in connection with your use of our website or are in contact with us via email, chat, or similar (Collectively referred to as "Online Product"). You can also read how we secure the data we receive, what rights you have, and how we comply with the GDPR rules set by the European Union.

 

1.2 For example, we collect data about you if you buy or shop at mybaser.co.uk, contact our customer service via chat or email or telephone, or use Baser’s website www.mybaser.co.uk. Baser never have and will never sell your personal data.

 

  1. The personal data we collect and for what purposes, and how do we process your personal data in accordance with applicable law

2.1 By visiting mybaser.co.uk, data about you and your use of mybaser.co.uk is collected automatically by our systems. Typically, such data is what browser type you have, what keywords you use, what products and categories you search for, content from chat, your IP address, network location, and information about your computer, tablet or mobile. When using the Online product, Baser’s Cookie Policy applies.

 

2.2 We use such information and data to improve your user experience and optimise online product features, as well as to answer your questions submitted via our chat function. Also, we use the data to carry out relevant and targeted marketing on mainly Google, Facebook, and Instagram or the like.

 

2.3 You can find the legal basis for our processing of your data in connection with visits to the website, use of cookies, and registration for mybaser.co.uk's direct marketing in point a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. Your consent to chat with our online customer service is subject to point a) of Article 9(2) and point a) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest in improving our website and being as relevant to our marketing as possible, cf. point f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR.

 

2.4 When you purchase a product on mybaser.co.uk or communicate with us through our Online Product, we record and collect the data you provide. This can be, for example, name, address, email address, telephone number, method of payment, information about which products you buy and possibly returned to us, information about inquiries and complaints, requests for delivery, as well as information about the IP address from which the order was made if the order is made on mybaser.dk.

 

2.5 The purpose of recording this data is to provide the products you have ordered and comply with the agreements entered into and, in addition, to manage and comply with your rights to return a product and give notice of a defect concerning a product, cf. point b) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. Data about your purchases via our website is also collected, and we do so in order to comply with legal requirements for bookkeeping and accounting, cf. point c) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR. The basis for registering your IP address is because Baser wants to and is interested in preventing and stopping fraud. The legal basis for this is point f) of Article 6(1) of the GDPR.

 

  1. Recipients of your personal data

3.1 To deliver the goods you have purchased at mybaser.co.uk, data such as your name, address, email address, order number, and delivery requests will be handed over to one of our third-party logistics service partners who assist us in the shipment of your order, in addition to the freight forwarder responsible for the delivery of the goods, such as PostNord, GLS, Bring, DHL, DPD or other carriers. Also, your data may be disclosed to business partners who assist us in our business activities, including companies that prepare shipments, including pick and pack, subcontractors who ship goods, lenders, etc.

 

3.2 In order to securely complete payments that comply with the rules of the GDPR and are PCI DSS certified, we use Swipe or Bambora as well as PayPal (all referred to as "Payment Partners”) as payment partners. Only the data necessary to complete the payment will be sent to our Payment Partners.

 

3.3 Baser use external partners to perform a wide range of tasks and operational tasks, including other technical operations, improvements on and off the website, collection of permissions for sending newsletters, participation in competitions, pop-ups, relevant marketing, and assessment of our company and products. These external partners are validated by Baser, and your data about your name and email address will be entrusted to them.

 

In connection with your purchase on mybaser.co.uk, you may receive an email from Trustpilot on behalf of our company, inviting you to review our products and services. It is optional whether you want to do a review and what name you use. The email address you provide we only use to verify that a purchase has been made at Baser. If you accept the invitation, please note that the data liability for your personal data in this regard passes to Trustpilot.

 

All our partners are subject to and obliged to comply with and comply with all European GDPR rules.

 

Some of our external data processors, such as Google Analytics v/Google LLC., Facebook Inc., Klaviyo Inc., Brickwork, Magento Inc. and Zendesk Inc., Microsoft Corporation, and Bing, are established outside the EU and the UK, specifically in the United States. For this purpose, the necessary guarantees for the transfer of data to data processors outside the EU are secured through the data processor's certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield, cf. 4.1 Baser and our partners use cookies, pixels, server logs, and other similar technology to analyse trends, manage the website, track user movements around the website, and collect demographic data about our user base. You will be asked to provide evidence of your identity so that we do not provide incorrect personal data.

 

5.3 Right of rectification

If you learn that we have wrong or inaccurate personal data about you, you have the right to have it rectified by us. 5.8 Right to withdraw consent

You have the right and can at any time withdraw your consent to direct marketing, for example, newsletters. 5.9 Right of appeal

  1. DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA

6.1 Data collected about your use of mybaser.dk, cf. Sections 2.1 and 2.2 will be completely erased after a total period of 2 years, or the data will be anonymised so that the data can no longer be traced back to you. Remember that the deletion requires that during this period, you do not use or contact Baser’s Online Product, click on ads, visit www.mybaser.co.uk, or purchase anything from us.

 

6.2 If you have signed up for our newsletter, the personal data collected will only be deleted when you withdraw your consent.

 

6.3 As a rule, the personal data collected in connection with purchases you have made on mybaser.dk or any other of Baser’s Online Products will be deleted or anonymised so that it cannot be traced back to you, 5 years after the end of the calendar year in which you completed your purchase.

 

6.4 Data for use with the company's accounting material will be stored for 5 years until the end of a financial year, so we can meet the Danish Bookkeeping Act's requirement for the storage of accounting material.

 

6.5 The correspondence and personal data we have collected in connection with your interaction with our customer service will be deleted 2 years after your last contact with us.

 

  1. SECURITY

7.1 Baser take security extremely seriously, and we have, therefore, implemented a large number of technical and organisational security measures to prevent that your personal data is illegally or accidentally destroyed, lost, altered, degraded, misused, or made available or disclosed to irrelevant third parties.

 

7.2 Only employees who have a legitimate need to access your data to carry out their work will have access to your personal data.
