1. Purchase of items
Personal data such as name, address, and payment information are necessary to complete when purchasing goods on Baser's webshop. Once you have accepted and paid for your purchase, you will receive a confirmation of your order by email. The agreement is not binding until the item has been shipped from our warehouse. The agreement is subject to printing errors, technical problems, delivery failures, and similar situations. All agreements you enter into with mybaser.co.uk are concluded in Danish and subject to Danish law.

All displayed prices at mybaser.co.uk are in British Pounds or Euro and include 20% British VAT or 19% German VAT.
In order to trade at www.mybaser.co.uk, you must be able to enter into a legally binding contract for purchase. If you act on behalf of a company, you must have the right to enter into binding contracts on behalf of the company to make purchases from our site.
2. Payment
At Baser's webshop, you can pay with a wide range of payment cards such as VISA, Visa Electron, Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and MasterCard, as well as PayPal. When paying with payment cards, we will only transfer the amount from your account after the goods have been shipped from us.
When you shop on our website, and when you order products on the website, we only store the data necessary to deliver the ordered item and for the payment transaction to go through. The stored data will be stored with our payment system, Stripe, Bambora, Amazon Pay or PayPal, which are secure PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry, Data Security Standard) certified partners. Therefore, we have no access to your card details, and we cannot in any way disclose account data, withdraw an amount several times or anything like that. The data is stored with our partner in a secure PCI DSS certified environment.

3. Shipping, receipt, and delivery time
All orders are sent as parcel post with your local carrier like DHL, DPD, Royal Mail, Hermes. We offer free shipping, and you can track your parcel via the email you receive with your tracking no. We can deliver to the whole of Europe, if you face an error during checkout please contact customer support to clarify that your country is eligible for shipping.
All orders made before 1 pm, we strive to pack and ship the same day. The delivery time is often between 1-2 days in the UK and 3-5 days for the rest of Europe.
We minimise the amount of cardboard for shipping, and we have, therefore, produced our packaging so that in most cases, we can ship our goods without extra cardboard for shipping. If you want the package wrapped in a cardboard box for shipping, please contact customer service.
You must check the content of the parcel on receipt and ensure that the package or content is not damaged or has defects. You must contact us and report the damage immediately and no later than 3 days after receipt. In the case of transport damage, please contact and report the damage to the courier in question immediately.
4. Right of withdrawal and 100-day right of return
As a consumer, you have 14 days right of withdrawal on goods purchased online. The 14 days run from the day you or the one you have specified have received the item. As an additional service, Baser offers a 100-day full right of return*.
To exercise your right of withdrawal or make use of your right of return, please write to help @ mybaser.com with the following information within 14 days:
- Order number
- Name of recipient
- Name of buyer
- Date
If you exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving your email about withdrawal, you must send the product(s) back. You can find and buy return labels here. We do not receive parcels sent per C.O.D. We will hold the payment until the item has been returned and we have verified that the item is in a saleable and unused condition. If the item(s) has been used and a loss of value, therefore, has occurred due to the handling of the item, this value loss will be deducted.
On Baser's webshop, you get a 100-day full right of return* from the day you receive your goods. The right of return applies when you have regretted your purchase. Upon return, the goods must be unused and in the same condition as upon receipt, as well as in original packaging. Before sending the package back to Baser, this must be communicated to customer service. We do not receive parcels sent per C.O.D. Once we have received the item and approved the return, we will transfer the amount paid into your account. You buy a shipping label via our return portal here or contact us via chat or mail (help @ mybaser.com). You are in charge of shipping costs for returning the goods. We only refund to the payment card used for purchasing the goods. This is to avoid any illegal use of stolen payment cards. Remember to save your parcel receipt as proof that the item has been shipped.
Return freight costs is calculated during the return procedure and may or may not be free of charge. Otherwise return costs depends on which carrier you choose to return the item.

*This means that you can return a product that you have not used at full price. Therefore, the product must be of the same quality, quantity, and condition as when you received it. Thus, do not set up the product or make use of the product.
5. 5-year spare parts warranty
At Baser, we care about making good products that last a long time because we want to avoid overuse and "buy-and-throw-away culture". At the same time, we also are aware that the forces of nature are so enormous that an accident can sometimes occur. That is why we are there to help when accidents occur. When you buy a Baser product, you get a 5-year spare parts warranty* from the date of purchase. If a component breaks, we will replace it completely free of charge. The only thing you pay is 6.59 Euros for shipping. So, no matter what situation has arisen, we can always help you find the right solution so you can get back in the shade and enjoy your summer drink.
*Baser ApS does not assume liability for damage to objects or persons arising from the incorrect setup, improper use, improper dismantling, or maintenance of the parasol foot from Baser ApS. The product must not be used for purposes other than stated, and Baser ApS accepts no liability for damage caused by not intended use. Baser ApS has the right not to cover the following cases where the product has broken: (I) Incorrect or not intended use, (II) The product is not maintained in accordance with the regulations, (III) If the end customer cannot provide evidence of the purchase of the product from an authorised dealer, (IV) Damage caused by climatological influences such as wind and weather, and (V) Damage resulting from normal wear and tear.
A warranty claim accepted by Baser ApS does not automatically imply that Baser ApS also accepts responsibility for any damage suffered. Baser ApS' liability never includes more than described in these warranty terms, as Baser ApS disclaims liability for property or personal injury as far as possible. Baser ApS expressly denies any liability for consequential damage. This provision shall not apply if and to the extent that such a provision is not permitted under a mandatory legal provision in the buyer's country.
6. Communication with Baser
To provide the best service, our communication will often be by electronic means such as chat, email, or similar. You agree that such communication may take place electronically and that contracts may be concluded in electronic form.

8. Complaints
Baser's webshop acts under the guidelines issued by the Danish Competition and Consumer Agency. Complaints are made according to the rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act. This means that you can make claims about defects in the item that occurred within 24 months of purchase. However, this does not apply to defects, damage or wear caused by improper use, lack of maintenance, or general wear. For example, if you have had your parasol foot standing unattended in windy weather. If you wish to make a claim about defects or missing deliveries, please contact customer service at +45 22 23 12 29 every weekday between 10 am to 4 pm or write to help @ mybaser.com.
In the event of a complaint, you are generally entitled to have the purchased item replaced by a similar product, have the item exchanged, or a reduction of the price. Therefore, in order to minimise the use and throw away, we are happy to deliver spare parts under our 5-year spare parts warranty. However, the spare part is provided free of charge only if the complaint is accepted by Baser.

10. Reservations and disclaimer
Any purchase from Baser is subject to changes to taxes and fees, price and proofing errors, technical errors, sold-out goods, and force majeure, including labour dispute, pandemics, and defects in or delay of deliveries from subcontractors, as well as delay in delivery.
