Fabric for the future
We need to take care of our planet and as a family-owned company we can do so though our manufacturing processes using no toxic materials.
Water-repellent and waterproof features are often achieved through toxic PFAS chemicals, harmful to both health and the environment.
At Baser, we value family and refuse to compromise on safety. We've discovered an eco-friendly alternative to PFAS that doesn't sacrifice performance, ensuring our sandbags and covers remain water-repellent without the use of harmful chemicals.

No more faded Parasols
Keeps it colorfastness
ISO 105-B02 Certified
We need to make better and stronger products that last longer so we use fewer of our planet's limited resources. As a family-owned company, we can ensure to produce only high-quality products at a higher price point that will last season after season.
One way to make our parasols last longer is by using high-quality fabrics. Ensuring that the fabric on your parasol is of high quality will make it last longer and keep its color longer.
We test all of our fabrics with the ISO 105-B02 test, where the fabric is exposed to artificial sunlight, and the color change is estimated based on the amount of color change. We only accept fabrics that score 7-8 or above, as achieving an 8 is impossible since it requires no fading at all.
While all fabrics will lose color over time, there is a significant difference between a fabric that loses 25% of its color after 1 year compared to one that loses only 1.5 or 2%.
